Ronald W. Miller's Obituary
Ronald W Miller, age 85, is survived by his wife of nearly 64 years, Kathleen, three children, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Ron moved his family to Clearwater in 1971 to start his own Nationwide Insurance agency. He had a very successful career. He was an active and supportive member of Light of Christ Catholic Church. He began volunteering with coaching and later served on the Board of Directors of Clearwater For Youth. He was dedicated to their mission of children's sports programs for 50 years. Home away from home was the Clearwater Yacht Club. He was a member for 40 years and loved everything about the club. His greatest pleasures were his family, sailing and contributing to anything having to do with children. He was a car fanatic who also enjoyed sports and world-wide travel. Ron’s outgoing personality endeared him to many and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
