Very sad too hear of Uncle Ronnie passing away. I'm glad it was peaceful, and without pain. I will miss him visiting us here in Hawaii, and going on so many hikes. He always had a few hikes he had planned for us to do; and then he always wanted for us to take him on some new ones. He wasn't afraid to try unofficial and muddy hikes. Because he had two bad knees, and two bad ankles, he fell more than anyone I've ever seen; but he got back up more than anyone I've ever seen. On the Kau'au Crater Trail he fell around thirty times (because most of the trail was as slick as ice, with all the mud), but he never seemed to get frustrated. Uncle Ronnie was such a kind, gentle, and humble man. The world would be a better place if everyone could be more like my Uncle Ronnie. God Bless Him. Love, and Condolences Cousin Mike Hayes
