Rosalie L. Tobias' Obituary
Rosalie L. Tobias, 93, passed away on November 8th, 2022, at the Suncoast Mid Pinellas Care Center in Pinellas Park, Florida. Rosalie was born in Manhattan, New York, on February 7th, 1929, the daughter of the late Anthony Cardinale & Anna Defede.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Francis J. Tobias. She is survived by her daughters Denise (Tom) Donohue, and Linda Tobias, grandchildren Kelli, Toni, Christopher, Eddie, and Kristina, and great-grandchildren Jackson, Hudson, Sutton, Anthony, Julianna, Nicholas, and Benjamin.
Rosalie spent the majority of her life living in Long Island, New York. She worked as a wirer and solderer in the electronics industry, working on some of the first few computers, and was extremely proud of, and enjoyed her work. Later in life, in May of 2019, she moved down to Florida. She loved arts and crafts, and even made the flowers for her granddaughter Kelli's wedding. She was also a recipient winner of "Gift of A Lifetime", which helped her attend Kelli's wedding via livestream, complete with her own makeup team and refreshments at home. Rosalie was also a devout Catholic and loved everything butterflies.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked donations to be made to Suncoast Hospice.
