Rose Lentz's Obituary
Rose Marie Lentz, 92, passed away on September 25, 2024. She was born on
December 8, 1931, to the late John Augustus HoƯman and Carrie Elizabeth
Wetzel. She was born in Emmitsburg, Maryland, grew up in Pennsylvania and
moved to Florida in 1975. Rose worked as a Quality Control Inspector, was
employed by Silor Optical in Florida, and retired in1994.
Rose had a passion for gardening, sewing, sketching, and painting. Her
creative spirit and warm presence will be dearly missed by all who knew and
loved her.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Ira Robert Lentz, her daughter,
Sheree L. Halsne, her son, Steve R. Lentz, and her grandchildren, Jeremy P.
Wilbur, and Danielle L. Lentz.
Rose is survived by her son, Darren Michael Lentz, and her daughters, Linda
Marie Lentz, and Deborah Ann Michantz. She also leaves behind three
grandchildren, Bradley W. Grove, Jr., his wife Jennifer, Michael R. Halsne his
wife Caitlin Jones, and Steven M. Lentz. as well as five great-grandchildren,
Daylon Grove, Ayla Grove, Bryce Grove, Caden Jones, and Brooke Lentz.
Rose's memory will be cherished by her family and friends, and she will
forever remain in their hearts.
