I will miss Rose terribly. She and I shared a fun friendship. We went on 5 cruises together and had a blast. She was the best story teller I know. We shopped, drank wine and played cards and games every week for many years. I've attached the picture of Rose getting her award for reaching her 4 stars mariner status while we were on our trip to Italy.
I read Rose's beautiful obituary in this mornings paper and thought she looked familiar.
The line: "She obtained 4 star mariner status with Holland America Line" was the clincher.
I must have met her onboard one of the ships during happier days. You have my sympathy.
