Rosemary Cullen

Dear Cullen family all, We were so sad to hear several days after the funeral of sweet Rosemary's passing. We were in the middle of moving and had lost most contact with the "outside world". Please forgive us for not being there. Our hearts sighed heavily and our eyes filled with tears as we remembered those 13 years that we lived next door to Joe & Rosemary. They literally became grandparents to our children and family to all of us. Those were some of the best years of our lives as we got to know all of you better and grew to love you more. Right after we heard about Rosemary, we unpacked a box and, much to our surprise, we found our favorite picture of Joe & Rosemary! It now sits on a shelf in the family room where we can see them often. Please know how much we love you all. God bless you. Our love always, the Baker Clan.

Dec. 30, 2011 - What can we say??? Best day ever...Mom/Nana/She who must be obeyed/ was laid to rest at Serenity Gardens next to her beloved soulmate of 65 years a/k/a Dad/Papa/He who did as he was told...LOL We had a nice gathering at Moss Feaster in Dunedin; let me just say that the staff there is as good as it gets...The Funeral Mass at OLL was respectful, and the ceremony at Serenity Gardens was filled with love and no shortage of laughter...Afterwards, we convened at Smokey Bones in Clearwater, one of Mom's favorite places; where we proceeded to blow off some "steam"...All in all, a great day, and one Mom would have approved of :>) Our love to all,B & BP.S. Sincere thank you to all at Moss Feaster, Our Lady of Lourdes Church, and to Deacon Brady at Serenity Gardens for a fine tribute to mom this past Friday. Also, a good time was had by about 25 of us at Smokey Bones during a further tribute and toast to mom and dad. Mom always liked going there with us. I think she was smiling down on us.

The Cullen family would like to thank the caring professionals at Moss Feaster, especially Phil and Joe, for their kindness. Thank you to Father Gary at Our Lady of Lourdes Church for a beautiful Mass and tribute to our mother Rosemary. Also, thank you to church coordinator Frederika and organist Debbie for beautiful songs which mom had selected previously. Thanks also to Deacon Brady for the cemetery service. Thanks to all the family and friends for their kind words of sympathy. Special thanks to Brian and Barbara Cullen for all their efforts helping mom in her last days and arranging for her funeral.

Rosemary and Joe were our next door neighbors for many years. We loved them dearly and are sad to hear of Rosemary's passing. She was a woman of strong faith so Christmas Day seems right for her to be united with the Lord and her Joe again! Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Cullen family. Chuck & Amy Boudreau
