Rosemary Keyes' Obituary
Rosemary Keyes, 90, passed away on June 5th, 2024, at home in Clearwater, Florida. Rosemary was born on April 5th, 1934, in Brooklyn, New York, the 6th of 6 children born to the late Vincent Hally and Helen O'Toole Hally. Rosemary grew up in Brooklyn and spent her working years as the Computer Center Clerk of the Brooklyn College. She married her beloved husband John Keyes in 1960 and had their daughter Geralyn.
After retirement, Rosemary moved in 2015 to the On Top of the World (OTOTW) retirement community in Clearwater, Florida. Rosemary participated in many events & clubs at OTOTW and was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary, Irish Club, Travel Club, & Mary Queen of Heaven Senior Club. She enjoyed baseball, and was a huge NY Mets fan. In her free time, Rosemary enjoyed traveling, 40's & Irish Folk music, cooking, and spending time with friends laughing over a few beers. Family was the most important thing of all in Rosemary's life; getting married and having children & grandchildren were the most special moments to her.
Rosemary is survived by her daughter Geralyn Brisley, 3 grandsons John Glenn Brisley, Timothy M Brisley, & Aidan M Brisley, and many nieces and nephews.
Rosemary is now at peace in Heaven with Jesus, her husband John, and the rest of her beloved family.
Remembrance celebrations to be held at a later date in New York.
