Roy W. Bennett's Obituary
Roy Wayne Bennett, 73, of Clearwater, FL passed away peacefully on Monday, August 12, 2019. Roy was born on December 9, 1945 to LeRoy and Cathryn (Collins) Bennett in Brookhaven, MS
He truly enjoyed fishing, camping and drag racing, drag racing himself in his youth. The majority of his career he excelled at automotive paint and body repair.
Roy is survived by the mother of his children, Linda Anne Dixon-Bennett; 2 Children, Shelly (Troy) Gardener, Steven (Brenda) Bennett; 4 sisters, Ginger (Ernie) Horton, Bobbye (Art) Deckard, May (Daryl) Plankenhorn, Betty Lou (Larry) Johnson; 5 grandchildren, Jordan Downs, Josh Downs, Audrianna Stamper, Jacob Bennett, Austin Bennett and 5 great grandchildren: Brayden Downs, Silas Downs, Amelia Downs, Oliver Stamper and Thea Stamper.
A celebration of life is planned for the summer of 2020 in Vancouver, WA.
