Russel H Trombly's Obituary
TROMBLY, Russel H, 92 of Clearwater passed away peacefully on December 23, 2015. Russel moved here in 1991 from Houghton Lake, Mi. He was a WWII veteran in the 8th Army Air Corp where he served as a gunner aboard a B-17 flying fortress. Following his service he worked for General Motors for 33 ½ years as a pipe fitter. Russel was a member of the Elks and the American Legion and enjoyed playing golf, racquetball and was an excellent fast pitch softball player.
Russel is predeceased by his daughter, Susan; brother, Wilford and Clifford; sister , Marie. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Avis; sons, Mike(Ann), Chris; grandchildren Justin, Paul, Blair; great grandchildren , Esme and Aria.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday January 9th at 2 pm at 7349 Ulmerton Rd at the club house. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Everybody’s Tabernacle.
