She is survived by two step-sons, Wayne Aaron and wife Claudia; Alford Aaron, 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Ruth’s early childhood was spent in Germany. Near the end of WWII she lived and worked in Paris, France where she met the love of her life, Stanley Aaron. They married Jan 1955 in El Paso, Texas. Ruth and Stanley were devoted to each other throughout their 41 year marriage. Ruth had a passion for the theatre, opera, classical music and an appreciation for fine art and architecture. Let us not forget her love for raw oysters – 2 dozen at a setting. She was masterful with food presentations as it complimented her European cooking style. Her delightful collection of elephants in all forms was widely known and enjoyed by her family and friends.
