Betty (Dilthey) was born in Cortland, NY. She went to school with her future husband Robert (Bob) J. DeHart. After Bob's return from WWII, they married and had 4 children. They relocated the family to Largo, Fla. In 1957. Betty worked along side Bob raising their family and developing hi s general contracting business until his unexpected passing in 1969. Betty held various administrative assistant positions throughout her career. She led a rich life surrounded by her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Betty was the true matriarch of the family, keeping them connected through the years. She was a life-long Presbyterian and a wonderful neighbor and friend and will be missed by all.Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Estella Dilthey; husband, Robert J. DeHart, and grandchildren Ryan Johnson, and Baby DeHart; and sister, Charlotte Trayner. She is survived by her children, Donna Dick, Steve DeHart, Tim DeHart, and Sherrie Johnson; 14 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.
