“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.” (Proverbs 31:10 – KJV). When we first received the email about Sally’s passing, we were stunned. We have known her for years as our tax advisor, and she was always gracious, smiling, and friendly. We were in the process of gathering our new year’s tax information in preparation to go consult with her again. She truly made every customer of hers feel like a friend and family. She put joy into having our taxes done. She was an example of “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16 – KJV). Her light, her love, and her “1040 ministry” was visible to all who met her. Her passing leaves a deep hole in our lives, but we are better for having known her. We know when she went home to be with her Lord, this scripture was true for her: “(Her) lord said unto (her), Well done thou good and faithful servant: . . . enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” (Matthew 25:21 – KJV). Sally and her witness will be remembered. - Jerry and Mary Shaver
