Salvatore Vincent Buccheri's Obituary
Salvatore "Sal" Vincent Buccheri of Palm Harbor, Florida, passed Friday, October 1, 2021. Sal was born in Long Island City, New York and was a practicing Roman Catholic all of his life. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. He owned a luncheonette for twelve years with his brother Vinny until they sold it, and Sal went to work for Con Edison until he retired. He loved to dance, cook and sew. He was a lot of fun, had many friends and everyone loved him. He was so popular, that his Mom said he needed to get his own phone. So he did!
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Mary Chiaini Buccheri, father
Rosario Salvatore Buccheri and brother Vincent Anthony Buccheri.
Salvatore is survived by his sister, Dolores Buccheri-Davis, four nieces, Janet, Lisa, Rosemary and Regina; one nephew, Richard Jr., four grand nieces, Kimberly, Valery, Claire, Colette, four grand-nephews, Frankie, Kevin, Jeffrey and Nicholas, and one great nephew, Billy.
