Sandra L. Podhorecki's Obituary
Sandra L. Podhorecki, 79, of Clearwater, Florida passed away Tuesday March 7, 2023 at home. Born in Rochester, New York on October 29, 1943. Sandra is predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Mieczyslaw (Matthew) Podhorecki and her sister Debra and brother-in-law Joseph Bertini.
She is survived by her son Stephen (Mary) Podhorecki, her stepson Jerzy (Ela) Podhorecki, Grandchildren Kristina (Chris) Duncan, Shanon (Steven) Hiersche, Michal (Ania) Podhorecki, Andrezj (Magda) Podhorecki, Great grandchildren Lucas and Logan Duncan, Ethen Todd, Bentley Hiersche, step great grandchildren, Tre Duncan, Mackenzie, Makayla, Makenna Hiersche, and Max Podhorecki.
She is also survived by her sisters Barbara (Tom) Kuter, Beverly (Lee) Phillips, Janet (Marty) Everts, her brother Daniel (Ivette) DuFour, as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Sandra worked many years for Taylor Instruments in Rochester, New York. After she and Matt retired, they moved to Clearwater, Florida, and were longtime members of the Polish American club. They had many friends and fond memories of the times they spent there. They also enjoyed traveling and were both members of several choral groups over the years. She also loved to play the piano.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later time.
