I have been a family friend for more than 40 years and I considered Sandy May Steyer to be my 2nd mother. I will miss telling her "just like a bad penny, I keep turning up" and I could count on her saying "you're a bad penny, alright" and give me her big smile with a hug and a kiss. I never left her without telling her "I love you".
I will miss that smile, tweet. I love you.
