Sarah Ferrante's Obituary
Pinellas Park — Sarah Ferrante died peacefully in her sleep Friday the 24th of April at Bayside Terrace Assisted Living Community.
Born in 1912 in Old Forge, PA, Sally received her nursing education at Utica General Hospital in NY where she soon became the hospital's Superintendent of Nursing.
In 1937 she married Anthony Ferrante, MD, and the medical couple moved to Boston where they lived a very happy life until 1970 when they retired to Florida. Sally loved cooking great Italian food and socializing over Bridge. She is survived by two children, Anthony & Judy, and siblings Orie Gigliotti and Ellen Gerace. Finally, she had a wonderful smile that could light up a room!
