Scott William Kirk's Obituary
Scott William Kirk, 58, died peacefully, Thursday, September 23, 2021, in Palm Harbor, FL.
Scott was born January 1, 1963, in St. Petersburg, FL, the son of the late Kenneth and Lynden Kirk. He lived in Reston, VA, and Pittsford, NY, where he graduated high school, before his family moved to Indian Harbour Beach, FL. Scott attended the University of South Florida, graduated from the Suncoast School of Massage Therapy, and later completed his Associate of Arts degree at Brevard Community College.
Scott was easygoing and generous, loved to read, and was a master of Scrabble, backgammon, puzzles, and trivia. He lived in the Tampa area for more than three decades, during which he shared his home with several cats and his beloved dog Sheba.
He is survived by his sister Susan Mermer and husband Rich, his brother Tom Kirk and wife Lisa, and his sister Elizabeth Mook and husband Michael. He was uncle to three nephews, Rylan Mermer, Nathan Mermer, and Duncan Mook, and one niece, Gillian Mook.
