I always had a soft spot in my heart for Scott, he was always so eagar to please.Memories are like roses in December. Anita
Kay, Jack, Kim and Carrie,Sending you my deepest sympathies. Such a great loss for all that new him, loved him, or were fortunate enough to call him friend. I have such fond memories of Scott. He was a warm, kind soul. Scott was so incredibly smart – certain things just came naturally to him, seemingly without much thought. He was very quick witted with a dry sense of humor. You had to pay attention, or you might miss the laugh of a lifetime. I used to love going to see the Indy car races with him at the Meadowlands. We even got to see Paul Newman and Tom Cruise race up in Limerock. We spent a lot of time on the beaches down the shore, hiking the Appalachians, fishing, and ice skating. It seemed we were always busy doing something. Sometimes we were busy doing nothing at all, just spending time with each other's families. I can remember walking home from Church with Scott and sitting in kitchen eating Kay's fresh baked hobnail cookies – what a treat! We had a very friendly “Morris Hills” vs. “Morris Knolls” rivalry which resulted in both of us making new friends at the other's school. It was so long ago, and yet it seems like just yesterday. Rest in peace my friend.
To the Phillips Family,I am very sorry to hear of Scott's passing. I can still see him as one of my most enthusiastic students, a "Gold Hammer" recipient with a quick sense of humor as well as a natural talent for practical arts.
Dear Kay and Jack, we were sorry to hear of Scott's passing. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you both and Kim and Carrie at this sad time.

Dear Phillips Family,Scott was a dear friend who I will always fondly remember. I am deeply saddened by the news of his passing. May your family find peace and comfort in the memories that you shared.
I remember Scott from youth group at church in high school. He was always full of joy and zest for life and I always looked forward to hanging out with him. Rest in peace with our Savior brother Scott.
