Growing up my brother and I spent most holidays and at least one weekend a month with Sharon and her brothers. She didn’t fish and hunt and be rowdy as we did but if the weather was bad and we had to stay indoors we spent many hours playing board games.
When she was in college we visited her. When she was coming home for the weekend Dad would try and make sure we were there.
After she married Bob and moved to Florida, physically seeing each other was limited to when she came back to Missouri or if my family made it to Florida. But I could count on Sharon staying in touch she would send cards on every holiday and a great Christmas letter.
I will miss my cousin
