Sharon K. Sullivan's Obituary
Sharon K. Sullivan, age 72, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on October 23, 2025 with her family by her side.
Sharon was born December 16, 1952 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Paul and Iris (Snavely) Eikenberry. On December 23, 1978, she married John Sullivan, who preceded her in death on July 22, 1999. Together, they raised three children: Heather, Amberly, and Stephen.
Sharon’s passion for music guided her to a fulfilling career as a music teacher, where she shared her love of song and creativity with countless students. After college, she embarked on an adventure to Guam to teach on a military base, where she met the love of her life, John. They later moved to Hawaii, where they made many cherished memories enjoying the island’s beauty, scuba diving together, spending time with dear friends, and beginning their family.
In addition to music, Sharon had a creative spirit throughout her life and enjoyed many hobbies including ceramics, crafting, crocheting, cake decorating, gardening, and baking.
Family was at the center of Sharon’s life. She was blessed with five grandchildren who lovingly called her Momo. Over the past 13 years, she found great joy in spending time with them and sharing her many talents by teaching piano, baking cookies, playing games, and leading arts and crafts projects.
Sharon will be deeply missed for her creativity, her musical influence, her delicious baked goods, and most of all, the love and support she so freely gave. Her memory and the impact she made will live on in the hearts of family and friends.
Sharon is survived by her children, Heather Sullivan, Amberly Sugihara, and Stephen Sullivan; her grandchildren, Leilani, Kian, Liana, and Cheza Sugihara, and Shiloh Sullivan; and her brother, Steve Eikenberry.
In lieu of flowers, Sharon wished for donations to be made in her memory to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. https://www.bcrf.org/
