Shirley Anne Lane's Obituary
Lane, Shirley Anne, passed away on January 14, 2015 after a four month stay at Harbor Wood Health and Rehab Center in Clearwater, Florida. Born in Willard, Ohio on March 10, 1935 she lived most of her younger years in Sandusky, Ohio while attending school. After marriage to Norman Burrows, she raised her four children, while living in Portsmouth, Ohio where her children exceled in sports. In 1979 she moved to Clearwater to be with her father, Ira Hayden Fouts, where she met her current husband of 34 years. After working 15 years with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s department she retired at age 62. Prior to retirement, as well as after retirement, she traveled extensively with her husband by auto, bus, plane, train, and cruise ships. Shirley was predeceased by her son Scott Michael Burrows, and survived by her husband Ryan F. Lane Sr., son, Norman D. Burrows Jr. of Tampa, son John H. Burrows of Clearwater, daughter, Cindy Marie Dyer of Spring, Texas, Step daughter Linda Lane of Cairns, Australia, stepson Ryan F. Lane Jr. of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina; brother, Richard Fouts of Tarpon Springs, Florida and Michigan, as well as ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Shirley’s name to a Charity of your choice. A visitation will be held on Wednesday January 21 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 693 South Belcher Road, Clearwater with a Graveside service to follow at Sylvan Abby Memorial Park, Clearwater. www.mossfeaster.com
