Shirley Martin Mixon's Obituary
Shirley Martin Mixon, 79, of Clearwater, Florida passed away on May 26th, 2022. She was born on November 30th, 1942, in Boyce, LA to the late Simon & Tiny (Nichols) Martin. Shirley was a long-time resident and beloved member of the Sky Harbor Estates Community in Clearwater. For many years, she put her green thumb to work, assisting neighbors in the landscaping and upkeep of their yards. She also served as a trusted house sitter for many. Shirley loved her garden and enjoyed many hours there.
Survivors include son Michael Mixon and daughter Debra Mixon Holliday and son-in-law Russ Holliday, as well as siblings and extended family in her home state of Louisiana. Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Mixon.
