I didn’t know Stan that well but I enjoyed doing vessel exams the couple of times we did them together. He always had the answers to my questions, I was new at it. I also liked the way he was the first to make a motion to adjourn the meetings. HEE HEE HEE he use to make me laugh. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Last memory was a visit by Stan to the CG store on the CLW airbase. Always busy and I n a rush you will be missed. Condolences from Thomas & Bernice Brickey.
Stan was always present at the safe boating public education classes as assistant instructor. He would do whatever he could to help the students learn safe procedures. His expertise was lines and knots, and he was very good at it. When we began the transition from printed paper reports to electronic reports, Stan got a new computer setup for his home. It was set up in the same room as the television. On one occasion, I was there helping with an issue. Wife Sophie was watching TV, but there was no sound. I commented to Stan “ Are we going to disturb Sophie? “ His reply was “Since I got those wireless headphones for her, she doesn’t even know we are in the room.”

I So much enjoyed Stan's participation in USGC Aux and his contributions at meetings. Stan made any event I shared with him a festive occasion. I am sad to lose this shipmate and dismayed that I cannot attend the service with my Aux alumni.
Stan, You Will Be Missed.

My dad enjoyed life, he was a golfer, was always at the wood shop making something. He was involved with the PAV Club in Lowell, and was Commander of the state organization. He spent his career as an “electrical engineer” at Raytheon. Once settled in Palm Harbor, he was a longtime volunteer with the Florida Sheriff’s Association. He also was a Crew Member of the Flotilla 11-9 of the Auxiliary Coast Guard in Clearwater.
