Steiner Marlowe Humerick
Died April 1, 2023 from congestive heart disease. He was born in Waynesboro, PA on October 14, 1928, the son of William S and Hazel Firestone Humerick. Pursuing a college education, he first attended Geneva College in Beaver Falls, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University. He later received a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute. His professional career spanned the steel, telephone, radio and aerospace industries. This last resulted in moving his family to Florida in 1962. His community service there included active assistance with Boy Scouts, and serving as Master of Clearwater Masonic Lodge #127.
He is survived by daughter Paula Humerick, Valley Village, CA; son, Jeffrey Humerick, St. Augustine, FL; and son, Mark Humerick, Clearwater, FL. He had two grandchildren, Amanda McParlane, Valley Village CA, and Richard Humerick, St. Augustine.
Funeral arrangements by Moss Feaster Funeral Home, Belcher Rd., Clearwater. Viewing Saturday, April 8, 3-5 pm. Interment at Sylvan Abbey graveside Monday, April 10, 11 am.
