Stephen Lancaster's Obituary
Stephen G. Lancaster was joyously welcomed January 11, 1971, by his parents, Donna and Gerald Lancaster in Atlanta, Georgia. After a move to Cincinnati, Ohio, welcoming brother Bradford W. where the family lived for seven years and surviving the blizzard of 1978, the family moved to Clearwater. Steve played soccer and baseball and was always moving. He played soccer at Countryside High School and Countryside Lightning as well as even a time with the Chargers. Cars were a passion and he was very creative with them. He attended St. Petersburg Jr. College and University of Tampa. Working in an office was not in his future as mechanical talents won out and he was excellent food service installer and supervisor. He loved working on Disney and Universal jobs. He loved racing cars, mudding and 4wheeling and his family and his dogs. Most of all Steve loved helping other people. Anyone needing a flat tire changed, getting in a locked car door, hanging a 65” TV, putting up hurricane shutters, cutting down a tree, Steve was your guy.
Steve died peacefully on July 13, 2021 with family by his side. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents William and Jean Orcutt. Survivors include daughter Asia, son Riley, brother Bradford W., parents Gerald and Donna Lancaster and loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
