Many of Saturday nights spent sitting next to what I consider a truly special family. My memories of sitting next to Theresa watching her husband race and the kids playing. After the race, Steve would come up to the stands to be with his family.
Steve lived life to the fullest, not letting injuries keep him gr anything he put his mind to. He will be missed.
Good morning. My condolences to the Pelo family. I grew up with Steve & we go way back into childhood from Little league baseball to playing football & the stories & memories are happy funny & many. Always a friend & always someone you could share a good time or even a bad time with. I know my friend is walking the streets of glory with his family that left us before he did but he did leave behind a lifetime of Memories for us all. Rest in eternal peace my friend.
I have know Steve since I was a child he was one of my brothers friends so he became a big brother to me. He always had an encouraging or kind word for me. I will forever miss him calling me Lil sis. My thoughts and Prayers go out to all who knew him. He will forever be missed.God Bless
There are no words that come to mind right now. I'm in complete utter shock. You were the first man I ever loved and you always will be. Thank you for being the most amazing father a child could ever ask for. You were always by my side throughout everything. The good times and bad times. You have Zac and I the best life imaginable and I hope to be half the parent you were one day. I'm so lucky you were able to walk me down the aisle and be there for the birth of your granddaughter. Bug loves you and misses you more than you can imagine. I will continue to do my best and be the best daughter and parent I can be. You were such an inspiration and role model to so many people and touched so many lives. It's amazing. I love you with all my heart and keep an eye on us all down here because we certainly need you more than ever right now. Thank you for all of our talks and guidance you've given me through the years. Rest easy daddy, I know your in no pain anymore and knowing that makes me feel a little better. Thank you for being such an amazing husband to mom. Not too many people can say they've been married for 30 plus years but you guys did! You both were soulmates. Zac and I will be by her side every step of the way. For someone who is very verbal usually, I am finding it difficult. My friend Pelo, the memories are all good. I was one of the lucky ones. I finally got to meet your family, and see how much you loved. I believe you are at peace and will show up around us all in your own special way. You said I lifted you up, you did that for me and so many others. What an impact you made my friend till the end.
