Stephen G. Watts, 76, of Clearwater, FL passed away October 29, 2019 at Morton Plant Hospital. Steve was born in St. Petersburg, FL November 19, 1942 to William and Mary Watts. Steve worked as an attorney for 50 years in the area; Read Obituary
Steve was about 10 years old when I first met him as his Dad was my Mother's boss at Sunset Country Club on Snell Island for many years. His parents, like Steve, were very kind to my Mother, who was a waitress at Sunset Country Club. I saw Steve over the continuing years at CYO activities, at FSU and through mutual friends. I last saw Steve when I was "home" visiting a few years ago from California when he was at the same Clearwater restaurant where I was dining. I'm so thankful to have had that opportunity to talk with Steve and catch up on his life. Steve was such as nice, polite and kind boy who grew up to become a wonderful man. I am so, so sad to learn Steve died. I am praying for Steve's family.
I worked with Steve when he was a young attorney working with Bill Goza and Don Hall and have many fond memories of him. My condolences to his family.
Steve was a good friend, I respected him very much, I went to school (St Paul's Catholic School in St Petersburg)with him, had good time after school at "Mickiey's) across the street from the school Steve was the only friend that I would let drive my car. Steve would try and teach me how to play golf at Sunset Country Club, when his dad "Billy" was the General Manager. Steve and I worked court cases together, he will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.

Our sincere condolences to the Watt's family. We will miss him, he came into the restaurant every morning, first customer! He diligently worked the crossword before even thinking of ordering.
