My condolences to the Wood family. Dr. Wood did several surgeries on my knees, ankle and shoulder. I was always amazed how he would listen to me then place his hand on the injured joint and know exactly what was wrong. He would order an MRI or X-ray to confirm but was always right. Moreover, I will miss his smile and jovial friendship that we shared for 20 years.

Steve was a high school friend who gave me some great memories, like our buddy cross country trip at age 17/18 to Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Francisco in Steve’s Dodge Monaco. I met Dr. Wood about 12 years ago. He became not only a co worker, but a dear friend of mine. Telling jokes and having breakfast became a ritual of ours. He became my friend. He was a great surgeon and a great friend. He will be missed but not forgotten! RIP my dear friend!
