Susan was a “free spirit” who was extremely creative and enjoyed using her artistic talents to make various craft items. During the Christmas season she often fashioned clever reindeer door decorations from Florida palm fronds. She enjoyed having a tidy house and was skilled at cleaning and cooking. Despite many challenges in her life, she had a good sense of humor and was generally an optimistic person. She was a friend to young and old alike. Kind-hearted by nature, Susan was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.
As a child Susan visited many historic places with her parents and sisters in travels throughout the United States and Europe. As an adult she lived for a few years in Indiana and Pennsylvania but she loved the beach and several years ago returned to live in her beloved Florida.
Susan was a spiritual person who believed in God. In the last few months of her life, during her illness, she told loved ones not to worry as “It is all in God’s hands.” She will be greatly missed by family and friends who dearly loved her.
