Kathy - I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember how we used to laugh about Ted's shrine to Dale Earhardt. I still smile thinking about it. Lois Carr, Daytona Beach Shores, FL

47 years ago I met a wonderful person. That person never changed but remained the best friend anyone could ever have in the world. I will cherish the memories and many magical moments that we shared throughout the years. Kathy, Ryan, David & Reba; my deepest sympathy to you all. But, just remember that smile of Teddy's! Love to all, Deborah and Floyd Benning
We had a lot of fun together. You were at my house when my wife went into labor with both of my kids. We went to Atlanta for a Nascar race and you booked a normal room at the hotel. Being Atlanta where Ted Turner owned the Atlanta Braves and was very popular at the time, I decided to call the hotel after Ted booked the room and told them to make sure the room was properly prepared for Mr. Turner. When we got there he was surprised to find our normal room was upgraded to a huge suite adorned with flowers, and a large spread of food for free. Needless to say, it was a hoot. We did not see each other much the last couple of years, but I will miss Ted like a brother you were a good soul........
Kathy, Ryan and David, we offer our family's condolences to yours during this emotional and difficult time.
Best friend and brother for 47 years will always cherish the many adventureswe shared. Thank you for being in my life and for all the times you saved me.Always your friend and brother.
Ted, it is telling that so many of us remembering you now, and always, have known you and have been friends with you for more than 50 years. Relationships of such duration are rare for most of us, but something we've grown to expect in your circle. A friend of Teddy's is a friend for life. I count myself more than lucky to be one of those friends, not to mention brother-in-law.
Teddy, I am so going to miss hearing you answer the phone, "Kathy's answering service".
The Best Father anyone could hope for
