Theresa Nikitas Shaw's Obituary
Theresa (Nikitas) Shaw passed unto the Lord on 11/25/18. She was 86 years old. She was born in Rutland, VT and moved to Clearwater, FL with her late husband, Charles M. Nikitas. They owned and operated 3 restaurants in Williamstown, MA; Pappa Charlie's, A & W Drive-in, Michael's Restaurant and Pappa Charlie's Deli and Sandwich Shop. She was a graduate of Granville High School, Granville, NY and Paine Hall, School for Medical Technicians in NYC. Theresa was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Clearwater, FL, Ladies Philoptochos Society and the Holy Trinity choir. She volunteered at Morton Plant Hospital. She enjoyed the theater and was active in her church.Theresa was pre-deceased by her parents Louis G. and Margaret Corsones and her brother George L. Corsones. Survivors include her husband, Gordon Shaw of Clearwater, a daughter Cindy Nikitas, Williamstown, MA, a son, Michael Nikitas, The Villages, FL two grandchildren, Gregory and Jessica Payton and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, Theresa has asked that memorial contributions be given to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 409 Old Coachman Rd., Clearwater, FL 33765. Visitation will be Thursday, 11/29, 9AM till service at 10am at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will take place in Fitchburg, MA.
