Brother Joe, I have SO many fond memories of your Dad. My favorite was when we were little kids and we would take autumn walks and your Dad would jump into the huge leaf piles pretending to fight leaf monsters. He was very convincing. He was a kind man with a gentle soul and I am positive that you will see him again!
My dad passed away when I was a baby. So, "Bear" was my dad growing up. He gave me a whole new family, with grandparents, Aunt/ Uncles and step siblings. Although I never really got to know Cathy, Joe was like a brother. I still remember trips to the beach and him burying me under the couch cushions etc. Even though we didn't see him very much these last few years, we loved ypu Bear. And we're sorry for the loss your family is going through.
