Thomas Wayne Harman Sr.'s Obituary
Harman, Thomas Wayne, age 67, passed away peacefully on Dec. 31, 2013, in Clearwater, FL. Wayne grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, served in the United States Navy for four years, and graduated from Sacred Heart University, in Fairfield, CT. He moved to Clearwater, from Connecticut, with his family in 1989. Wayne was proud of and dedicated to his position as Vice President of Global Manufacturing for BIC Graphic, where he worked for 30 years. An avid golfer and fisherman for many years, he also enjoyed traveling (particularly to Yellowstone National Park and Las Vegas), and was a tremendous fan of Western films and books. But above all else, Wayne was dedicated to his family: He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Joanne M. Hlewicki Harman, as well as his two sons, Thomas Wayne Harman, Jr. and Mark B. Harman; his brother Lyle and wife Sharon, his sister Linda Hobbs and husband David, and his sister Pat Chapman; extended family of James Radcliffe, Jan Hlewicki and Irene Wasicsko, William and Louise Hlewicki, and Maryann Sabol; and a great many nieces, nephews, and friends. Wayne is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Higgins Harman, as well as his sister-in-law, Diane Radcliffe.The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Beth Hanrahan, her staff and Suncoast Hospice, especially Betty, for their compassionate care.A celebration of Wayne's life will be held at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 1320 Main St., Dunedin, on Saturday, January 11th, between 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Thoughts and condolences may be expressed online, at: www.mossfeasterdunedin.com.In lieu of flowers or donations, Wayne's family requests that you embrace the ones you love and reach out to a friend in need.
