I had the privilege of working with Tom on several video projects for The Salvation Army. An even greater privilege was to call him "friend." What a brilliant, kind-hearted and honorable man he was.

Lt. Col. Jones was one of the first Officers that I encountered while being a brand-new employee in the field. He welcomed me warmly and with a big smile and genuine kindness. I will always remember that moment as it a wonderful impression upon me of the organization that he cared so deeply about...The Salvation Army. Promoted to Glory indeed- Go Gators!!!

I was very young when I first met Tom Jones. We lived up the street from them in Baltimore and I think I became the girls' first babysitter. He was always very kind to me and paid me well for babysitting.
