Thomas W. Porter's Obituary
Thomas W. Porter of Clearwater passed away peacefully at the age of 76 on November 24th, 2019. He moved to Florida in 1979 from Indiana with his wife Mildred. Thomas served in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam conflict. Following his service to our country he became an electronics engineer until retirement. He enjoyed movies, good comedy like Rowan and Martin's Laugh In and Hudson and Landry, as well as making time for Broadway plays. Thomas loved every genre of music from rock to classical with favorites such as, the Beatles and Simon and Garfunkel.
Thomas is predeceased by his parents Thomas Bashaw Porter and Mary Louise Lytton Porter. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mildred; sons, John, Jim(Karen), Joe; niece, Susan; nephew, Larry; brothers, John and Bobby; sisters, Carol, Paula, Mary and Sarah; and four grandchildren. A service is planned for Friday 12/6 @10:30 am at Light of Christ Catholic Church 2176 Marilyn Street. Clearwater, Fl. 33765.
