Thomas W. Scott's Obituary
Thomas Walter Scott aka Tom, 49, passed away on August 12, 2024, in Clearwater, Florida.
He spent his early life in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he met many lifelong friends who he loved sharing memories about.
After moving to Florida, he excelled in the electrical field eventually becoming a licensed electrical inspector.
He is survived by his wife Melissa and three children, Danielle (TN), Brooke (FL), and Riley (FL); two grandsons; his mother Linda Wiggins (FL); his father Brian Scott (NH); His brothers Michael (Gina) and Robert (Iris), his niece and nephew Aubrie and Tanyan; and many loving Uncles, Aunts, and cousins.
Tom’s love language was acts of service. He thrived on helping others. He loved quoting movie lines, drumming on his steering wheel while blasting 70’s and 80’s rock, learning how things worked and fixing them, drinking a large glass of milk especially chocolate, always being ready to share a dad joke or useless fact that no one else knows, the love for his cat Gracie, and laughing uncontrollably with his daughter Riley over inside jokes that no one else understood. Most of all, Tom loved his family.
He will be missed by many, but he can finally rest in peace with his Heavenly Father.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Massachusetts.
