Thomas James Vinay's Obituary
VINAY, Thomas James 66, of Clearwater passed away from thyroid cancer on April 12, 2016.
Tom was a US Navy Veteran who served during Vietnam and Desert Storm. He received first the Good Conduct medal followed by the Vietnam Service medal, Vietnam Campaign medal, Navy Unit Commendation, and Meritorious Unit Commendation.
Throughout his life, Tom held many careers including electricians technician, massage therapist, and quality control technician. His hobbies included fishing, working on cars, crossword puzzles, photography, and history.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents Mary and Henry Vinay. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Vinay; daughters Melissa, Amanda, and Mary Vinay; sister Judy Vinay; brother Richard Vinay; and grandson Brandon Vinay.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to Patricia Vinay.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 9:15 am on Monday, April 25th at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
