Clawson, Thomasine A. (Tammy)
Know to most as Tammy, age 88, she passed away peacefully at Suncoast Hospice Brookside in Palm Harbor on September 12, 2017. She was a resident at the Masonic Home of Florida in St. Petersburg and is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Frank and her parents.
Frank and Tammy moved to Clearwater in 1959 from Johnstown PA, shortly after moving to Florida Tammy worked as a receptionist at a doctor’s office then the Medical Records office at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, she also worked a number of other secretarial jobs, the last being with Dayton Andrews Chrysler/Plymouth in Clearwater, she was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was loved by many.
Tammy was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years. At the time of her death she was Worthy Grand Martha for the General Grand Chapter, Ambassador to Aruba and Past Grand Matron of the State of Florida, she was also Past Matron of Queen Esther Chapter #4, her home chapter.
She is survived by 3 daughters Cheryl, Barbara and Kathy, 3 grand children Michelle, Tracey and Andrew (AJ) and 6 great granddaughters.
