I first met Timmy and Scotty at Bauder Elementary when they were in Pre-K. They were the cutest and happiest little guys- just wanting to give love and be loved. At Largo Middle School, when I saw them again, they had not changed at all. I always thought Timmy was the more outgoing and Scotty was a little shy but both boys were always so positive and friendly.
My memory of Timmy was him in a general education/inclusive computer class, being assigned to create an Easter card. Timmy was the only one who created an Easter card with three crosses on a hill and reference to a risen Jesus Christ. I remember the feeling I had when I saw his card- amongst all the bunnies and baskets the other students had designed on their cards- Timmy knew Jesus!
Over the years, I saw the boys at many events- always smiling and eager to greet a familiar face. I am deeply saddened to hear of Timmy's passing. There is no doubt that he was welcomed into the arms of Jesus as a good and faithful servant. My deepest sympathy to his Mom and Dad, sister and his dear sweet brother Scotty.
