Tina Favale's Obituary
Ernestine “Tina” Favale, 89, of Clearwater, Florida, passed Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Highland Pines Rehabilitation Center in Clearwater. Tina was born in Mt Olive, North Carolina and she relocated to Florida in the early 1950’s.
Tina, or “Mimi” as she was affectionately called, spent many years as a Social Worker with Pinellas County. She was known for her kind spirit and generous heart when it came to helping people.
Tina had many hobbies and interests. She was an avid reader and loved biographies. She also enjoyed kayaking, biking, camping, cooking her favorite Italian cuisine, listening to jazz music, and she loved being a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Favale, who passed in 2011.
Tina is survived by her loving daughters Jacquie (Jack) Brawner of Naples, FL and JoAnn (David) Klecker of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, Robert (Hazel) Pearsall of Virginia Beach, VA; three grandchildren, Christine (Jason) Quinn of Palm Harbor, FL, Robert Collette of Seminole, FL and Michael (Julie) Foster of Colorado Springs, CO; and three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Emily, and Noah. She is also survived by her ex-husband Robert Foster of Colorado Springs, CO.
In lieu of a funeral service, Tina's family has decided to have a Celebration of Life gathering at the home of Tina's granddaughter, Christine, in Palm Harbor on Tuesday, August 2 from 1:00 to 4:00.
