Titus John O'Donnell's Obituary
Titus John O’Donnell, named for his paternal great grandfather, John O’Donnell (1930-2007) entered this world on March 5, 2021. He spent his precious few days in the presence of his adoring parents, Cody and Sophia, before passing into eternity on March 8, 2021.
Titus fought a valiant fight during his short time on this earth. He had a warrior’s spirit. His journey ignited a movement of prayer that brought countless people into the presence of the Lord on his behalf.
It is hard to describe the loss of a life that was felt and cherished but wasn’t meant to be as envisioned. Yet we know, through the promises of our faith, that the impact of Titus’ life is just beginning to be revealed. Already, we have been overwhelmingly blessed by the outpouring of love, kindness and support from family, friends and people who were previously strangers.
We know that God’s divine purpose for Titus’ life is unfolding according to His plan, which is always good, acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:2) We pray that people come to intimately know the unfailing love of Jesus through our testimony as we do our best to glorify Him even through the loss of our precious boy. Our hope is that Titus’ legacy will be growing the kingdom by leading people who are touched by his story to eternal salvation through Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:28)
Titus John will be laid to eternal rest next to his great grandfather, John, at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at Landmark Memorial Gardens (1600 Glendale Milford Road, Cincinnati, OH 45215). He is survived by his loving parents, Cody and Sophia, his grandparents, Darren and Cindy O’Donnell and Chris and Betsy McManus.
Titus will always be loved beyond measure by his parents and family, who will hold him close in their hearts until they can hold him again in their arms. Such is the glorious promise of heaven. (I John 2:25)
Cody and Sophia would like to share the following scriptures, which are bringing them comfort and hope during this time and serving as the promises on which they are standing in the midst of this trial.
I Thessalonians 5:18
Matthew 18:3
Isaiah 55:8-9
Psalm 136
Lamentations 3:22-24
“On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand.” We love you forever, Titus John O’Donnell.
