Vance William Sanders' Obituary
Vance William Sanders, age 15, passed away on January 23, 2015. He was born August 3, 1999 in Roseville, California. He is survived by his parents, Gary and Jody Sanders, two brothers, Grant Laurence and Payton Wayne and sister, Janae Darlene.
Vance was an exceptional young man who touched the lives of everyone he met. With an upbeat and outgoing personality, he could bring a smile to the most downhearted among us.
Vance approached every endeavor with an all- or- nothing spirit. Some of the sports he excelled in were karate, boxing, jujitsu, weight lifting and trap shooting. But his most stellar achievements were in swimming. He was named Swimmer of the Year in Florida for 13-14 year olds in 2014.
He won multiple top ten nationally ranked certificates and he broke multiple records at the 2014 Florida Age Group Championships. He was an athlete with amazing potential, and he will be sorely missed.
His family is heartbroken by this tragedy. We love and miss him so much, but we know that he is safe in the arms of Jesus.
