Versie Mae Elliott was born in Marianna, Arkansas on November 5, 1917.She married Arthur Elliott in 1933. From this union they produced a large family. Her loving husband died in 1956, and in 1957, Versie moved to Belle Glade, Florida. In 1962, she moved to Miami, Florida. Versie made her final home in Clearwater, Florida with her daughter Sabrina Green-Hudson.Versie was a caring, loving mother and friend. On Wednesday, November 25, 2009, Versie left this life into eternal rest. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her children, Arthur McElliott, Myrtle Upshaw, Lavern Noel, Alberta Elliott, Thelma J. Jackson, Sam William Elliott(deceased), Elizabeth DeShazior(deceased), Margaret Elliott-el Amin, Helen F. Thompson, Patricia Gammons, and Sabrina Green-Hudson; son-in-laws, James Jackson, Willie Noel, Lorenzo Hudson, Robert Kitchen Jr., and daughter-in-law Doretha McElliott, 32 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren, 25 great-great-grandchildren, and many loving friends.
