Vincent Joseph Bubolo's Obituary
Vincent J. Bubolo, 69, passed away April 1st, 2023.
Vincent was born in Queens, New York on April 5, 1953, to George and Mary Bubolo. He grew up in Pine Bush, New York in which he spent part of his youth working in an Italian Restaurant owned and operated by his parents.
Following his graduation from Salem College in West Virginia, Vincent commenced his career as a high school mathematics teacher and Math Department chairperson in Pine Bush, NY. He eventually departed from teaching to embark on a successful business career, where he held leadership roles at Kraft/Nabisco, culminating in his retirement after 20 years of dedicated service. Vincent and Barbara Bubolo, his former spouse, were blessed with three children - Vincent Jr., Heather, and Andrea – who were all born in New York and dearly cherished by both.
Vincent took immense pride in his Italian ancestry and relished cooking Italian cuisine, especially cannoli and gravy. In addition, he found pleasure in traveling, beach-going, racquetball, and bike riding. Lately, he had welcomed a boxer mix into his life and enjoyed bringing his beloved Bailey to his favorite beach in Stuart, Florida. Vincent was an avid sports enthusiast, with a particular passion for football, and spent his Sundays at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers stadium, observing his favorite team from the sidelines.
Vincent is predeceased by his parents George and Mary Bubolo, sisters Rose Mary Hufcut and Frances L. Weed. He is survived by his son, Vincent J. Bubolo Jr., his daughters Andrea Bubolo and Heather Robinson, and his son-in-law Josh Robinson. Vincent held a special place in his heart for his grandchild, Harper Robinson, and showered her with love and affection. Additionally, he is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, George, and Lydia Bubolo, who reside in Stuart, Florida, and his partner Evette Vargas.
In lieu of flowers, we kindly request that donations be made to the Department of Neurology at the Mayo Clinic, March of Dimes, or any charity that holds a special place in your heart, in honor of Vincent.
A memorial service in remembrance of Vincent will take place at the Moss Feaster Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 1320 Main Street in Dunedin, Florida, on Saturday, May 27th, from 1 pm to 3 pm
