Vincenza Maria Calvino's Obituary
Vincenza Maria Calvino, age 91, of Saint Petersburg,Florida, passed on Monday, December 17, 2012. She was born in Torre del Greco, Italy where she was an Elementary School Teacher for many years and grew up in a family of 9 sisters and 1 brother. Vincenza "Vittoria" came to the United States to learn of our school system where she met her husband, Antonio A. Calvino. They married shortly after meeting and later moved to Succasunna, New Jersey where they were members of St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church and had 1 daughter, Maria Pia.She was then a homemaker and a Librarian at the Roxbury Public Library. She loved children and loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved the opportunity to teach Italian to anyone willing to learn. Vincenza is survived by her loving daughter, Maria Pia Calvino Maxwell of St. Petersburg, Florida and 3 remaining sisters, Cherry (NY), Sisina (Italy) and Nadia (Italy).Vittoria will be very missed but her memories will be forever cherished treasures.
