Virginia Clement's Obituary
Virginia I. Clement, age 73, went over peacefully on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Mease Countryside Hospital in Clearwater, Florida.
She was born November 27, 1951, in St. Petersburg, Florida to Earl and Viginia Cooper. She was a 1970 graduate of St. Petersburg High School. She married Christopher Clement on February 29, 1976, on a leap year just before he was to turn thirty. She worked as a CNA and studied for a nursing career that was set back by having a special-needs son, David. All her life she was a loving caregiver and built a simple life with them in Ozona, Florida, a quaint seaside village in north Pinellas County. She and her husband, Christopher, brightened their lives with wonderful dogs, piano music, a high-privacy back yard, and the marvelous cookery she learned from her mom. She was a strong advocate for David and met with Governor Lawton Chiles to speak for special needs children and their families. Ginny was a wonderful loving sister to all of her six siblings, and they loved her so very much in return. She is survived by her son, husband, and very supportive siblings.
