Virginia B. Kirkpatrick's Obituary
Ruth Virginia Barron Kirkpatrick, 99, of Clearwater, passed away March 11, 2018, in Safety Harbor, Florida. Virginia was born October 22, 1918 to David Daniel and Florence Irene Weaver Barron in Safety Harbor. Virginia graduated from Florida State College for Women in 1939. She taught school until 1947, when she married William Ross Kirkpatrick. Together they built Bay Breeze Trailer Park on Tampa Bay, which she operated until her death.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Bill Kirkpatrick, and her great grandson, Levi Aaron Henderson. She is survived by her children, David Kirkpatrick (Cindy), Marilyn Kirkpatrick Halsey (Larry), Evelyn Kirkpatrick, Donna Kirkpatrick (Todd Miller) and ten grandchildren, Brion Stickler, Carrie Kirkpatrick (Dani Munoz), Daniel Halsey (Erin), James Kirkpatrick (Cindy Liu), Angela Stickler, Rebekah Halsey Henderson (Tommy), Sarah Halsey, Savannah Miller (Nigel Dawson), Tess Miller, and Dakota Miller, and great grandchildren Madalyn, Hannah and Victoria Henderson, Emilia and Elizabeth Munoz, and one on the way.
Virginia was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church in Safety Harbor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Safety Harbor Presbyterian Church or McMullen Cemetery.
A visitation will be held Friday, March 16th from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home at 693 South Belcher Road. Graveside services will be held at McMullen Cemetery, Saturday at 11:00am.
