Virginia "Ginny" Katherine Purcell's Obituary
Virginia Katherine Purcell, of Palm Harbor and formerly of Danvers, Massachusetts, entered into rest on December 12, 2022. She was 87 years young.
A Registered Nurse for over 50 years, Ginny served others via The Peace Corps having assisted others in
need in Lesotho Africa – taught at the Roma School of Nursing as well as in Honduras.
Additionally, Ginny was an accomplished traveler, having visited Thailand, Australia, China and even went on safari in Africa, as well as extensively in Europe.
Ginny was preceded in Death by her father, Robert Nesbitt, her mother, Dorothy O’Grady Nesbitt, her daughter, Carol Ann Purcell and brother, Thomas Nesbitt.
Virginia is survived by her loving sons, Michael, and Kevin.
Ginny's Services will be celebrated by her family at a later date.
However, as a gesture of Service to Others, as Ginny gave so of herself, it is asked that Friends and Family
donate to Peace Corps either financially or with their service.
