Waldy (“Duffy” was his nickname back then and I was “JoJo”) and I met when we were very young. He lived on Clinton Street and I was on Rutgers St. We started to date until high school was over. He was a year older than me so he graduated a year before I did and we lost touch. He was always special to me . I still have pictures of the two of us when we were very young I was either 14 or 15 when we met. . He was my first boyfriend I met him through my brother on the lower East side of Manhattan. RIP, Duffy, I will never forget you or the fun times we had😢❤️🙏🏻

My condolences to your family. Waldy was one of my dearest friends ❤️ We shared a lot of laughter and he helped me through the devastating loss of my leg. I will miss him terribly but I know he's with his mom and I will see him again!
I'm sorry for the delay in responding but my phone was stolen the same day I was rushed to the hospital.
