Wayne D. Gidel's Obituary
Wayne D. Gidel, left this life on Sunday, November 1, 2015, one week before his 89th birthday. He was the 7th of 8 children from a German - Irish Catholic farm family in Rockwell City, Iowa. Wayne's family moved to Clearwater, Florida in 1968, where he became a successful realtor and was the proud father of three University of Florida Gator graduates.
He will be cherished and missed by his devoted wife of 65 years, Mary Ziegler Gidel; son, Rob (Linda); daughter, Joyce (Jay); daughter, Kathy (Art); grandchildren, Jill (Brian), Ali (Jarrod), Rob (Jacqui), Lindsay, Kelly, Kris, Kari and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Madison, Lauren, Zachary, Sydney, Caroline, Andrew and Tre; sister, Beverly. Also, many nieces, nephews and beloved friends. The family will have a private Celebration of Wayne's Life.
